hi i contacted one of your staff members and they asked for my forum password to access my account?!!?!

From my perspective, It doesn't sound right at all. None of our staff members will ask for your account password as we have the right tools to access your account anyway (In a safe way). @Koray, could you please investigate this issue? At the moment ignore any messages you have while we investigate. We're sorry if this has caused any inconvenience; I would change my password as well just to be safe.

We'll definitely investigate this; could you email forums@avedoofficial.com with the information of the staff member, why you were contacting us and the email address associated with the message asking you for your password. We will contact you via information if any other information is required.
As @Nazrethem suggested, we recommend that you change your account password just in case your account get's hacked. If it does, we invite you to contact our team.
